1996
Property Works launches with an initial offering focused on real estate portfolio analysis, portfolio restructuring, and lease negotiation services for national restaurant companies.
2000
In response to our clients needs, Property Works adds property A/P processing to its service offerings.
2003
Property Works’ proprietary software, a web-based lease management application for retail tenants, is released.
2005
Based on demonstrated client needs, Property Works develops the Consent and Approval Management Tool. In addition, we launched our Facility Management Module.
2008
Property Works’ Advisory Group (PWAG) is established in Cambridge, MA, to accommodate the large need for lease negotiations during the economic recession.
2009
Property Works helps its clients weather the economic downturn by saving millions in erroneous landlord charges and renegotiated leases, while at the same time strengthening roots in the community by purchasing headquarters in the City of Decatur.
2010
Property Works expands its software infrastructure for additional features including client dashboard, enhanced mobile access, and new lease accounting compliance.
2012
Property Works launched the Straight-Line-Rent (SLR) reporting module. In addition, 2012 marked the 10-year anniversary from management buyout to current ownership.
2015
Property Works enhanced their SLR feature for more robust reporting. The new ASC 842 software was designed, coded, and ready to go for anticipated FASB changes to lease administration. In addition, Property Works established partnership with Emmaus House, an organization that aims to improve economic and social well-being of disadvantaged Atlanta neighborhoods.
2018
The PWAG lease negotiations team relocates their main office to Boston, MA. Additional enhancements are also made to alert reports, auto reporting, and action-item tracking. Property Works forms partnership to offer professional opportunities.
2020
Property Works develops the Rent Disruption Management Tool to assist clients dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The tool provides the ability to rapidly customize tracking and reporting. Additionally, Property Works proactively assists clients with the mandatory switch of ASC 842 for private companies.

Kimberly applies her vast real estate industry experience gained at companies like the Parkhurst Group, the Walt Disney Company, and the International Council of Shopping Centers to provide the highest level of services to our clients.
VP, SALES & PARTNER
As our original Partner and Vice President, Karla helps use her extensive experience and knowledge gained from organizations such as Jones Lang Lasalle and the Georgia Department of Education to streamline operations and profitability for our clients.
SOFTWARE ARCHITECT & PARTNER
George is responsible for the design and development of processes relating to web applications. He has developed systems for a variety of companies and organizations, including the U. S. Air Force, Koch Industries, and Georgia Tech Research Institute.
PARTNER
Experienced in both lease and occupancy cost management, CAM auditing is Gwen’s primary focus, with a heavy concentration in real estate tax management, insurance and utility audits, and occupancy cost lease language modifications.

Trisha applies her extensive organizational capabilities and strong leadership style to manage both the needs of the company and clients in a seamless manner. Trisha volunteers at a battered women’s shelter, helping its residents find employment and housing.
